A few local guys had an idea to have a cruise-in here in Elwood. So they put it together.It worked so well,the following year it was turned in to the Glass Festival Rod Run at the Callaway park here in Elwood.And has been there every since.Over the years it has grown to be one of the biggest and best car shows in the state of Indiana.
We also host the Cicero,Ind. Red Bridge Car Show, Freindly's Cruise-In, And the Elk's Cruise-in the night before the Glass Festival Rod Run Four of the original members are still active in the club to this day. We currently have 30 active members , We have a cap of 30 members .
In the month of December of every year we hold election of officers,who will take office on January 1st of the following year.The offices to be occupied are:
President
Vice president
Secretary
Treasurer
Sargent of arms
To join the club you must attend three meetings. After which we hold a vote. You have to get the majority of the vote of the club to become a member. The yearly dues are $20.00 which in turn we send to the Indiana Street Rod Assosiation. This will make you a member of the ISRA for the same year.
